Webinar on CDBG funding
The Arts Build Communities Project of the Blousten School at Rutgers University will hold a free webinar on April 22 from 2 - 3 pm. The ArtPride NJ Foundation and Arts Plan NJ are cosponsors.
Federal and State Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) support quality of life efforts in municipalities throughout the United States. Learn how they can be used to support arts and history activities in your communities. Speakers will discuss opportunities for and challenges in pursuing CDBG and related federal funding, as well as their experiences working with municipalities and local, county and federal government officials. Speakers include a representative of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which administers the CDBG program, as well as arts and history professionals who received grants from both federal and state programs to fund their cultural projects. Arts Build Communities is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
