Join us on May 22 at Thomas Edison State College from 10 am – 2 pm for a hands on workshop designed to help your cultural organization become a tourism “hot spot!”
Joe Veneto ,The Opportunity Guy, will follow up his successful introduction to the tourism industry held in October for arts and history groups with a chance to learn more about Positioning and Packaging Cultural Experiences for Tourism and Travel.
Arts and history groups have what today’s travelers are seeking—unique experiences like the opportunity to blow glass after learning about the history of glassmaking in New Jersey—the chance to study with master craftspeople in an idyllic rural setting—the ability to see cutting edge films where Thomas Edison created inventions that changed the world. All of this is possible in New Jersey!
Register online NOW for the workshop at Prudence Hall, Thomas Edison State College, 101 West State St. in Trenton. Registration fee is $20 which includes lunch. You will:
- Learn how to access economic buyers and decision makers in a variety of travel networks.
- Discover how to better position your organization in the travel marketplace by understanding the industry’s planning, packaging, promoting and selling cycles.
- Create leverage and improve results for your organization through new opportunities with packaging and partnership.
This workshop is part of Cultural Tourism: The Right Direction! —seminars presented by the ArtPRIDE NJ Foundation to help arts and history groups become effective cultural tourism partners.
